I was surprised that some of my most used free and/or open source programs weren’t list here

    Browsers:
Palemoon 32/64bit open source browsers based on heavily edited and optimized Mozilla/Firefox code (no sync with Firefox sync) https://www.palemoon.org/
Waterfox a 64bit variant Mozilla/Firefox browser for Windows (is also open source and will sync with Firefox) https://www.waterfoxproject.org/

eBook Library Manager & Format Converter:
Calibre 32/64bit open source ebook editor, format converter, manager, reader & rss reader.
    http://calibre-ebook.com/

    Image and Video Editing software:
This isn’t open source but it is FREE [you don’t need to use the direct link if you want, just navigate from Adobe.com main page (home>downloads>other downloads>cs2)]

Adobe Creative Suite 2 (including Acrobat After Effects, Photoshop CS2, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 and others) are available from Adobe.com as Abandonware/Freeware now (page includes the serial keys and direct downloads from the adobe servers).
    https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs2-product-downloads.html

    Audio &Video Codecs and Player/s:
K-Lite Codec Pack/s including playback support for both common and uncommon formats with full Windows Media Player integration as well as optional alternate open source Media Player Classic player available in 32 and 64bit variants.

    Email Client:
Mozilla Thunderbird free open source alternative to Microsoft Outlook capable of IMAP and POP3 with most webmail accounts. Includes Calendar addon by default as well as access to many more addons made by Mozilla community.
